The Raising Peace online peace festival returns to celebrate the International Day of Peace for 2023.
For three days from 21-23 September we are bringing you a series of speakers and workshops discussing the ever more important topic of how we can contribute to a peaceful world.
We will be exploring:
- Personal peace: How can you cultivate peace in your own life?
- Public peace: What can we do to create more peaceful communities?
- Political peace: Getting involved in shifting the political discource around peace and conflict
Our First Nations Stream this year focuses on the coming Referendum on the Voice and the Uluru Statement as an instrument of peacemaking. We continue to explore the march to militarisation. But we will also take time to celebrate the great work on peace being done from around the country.
